Our Experience at the Fancy Food Shows in New York and Las Vegas

This year, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Fancy Food Shows in both New York and Las Vegas, two of the most exciting events in the specialty food industry. Hosted by the Specialty Food Association (SFA), these shows bring together food innovators, buyers, press, and industry leaders to celebrate the best and newest trends in the market.

What is the Fancy Food Show?

The Fancy Food Show is the premier event for specialty foods and beverages in North America. Organized by the Specialty Food Association, the show provides a platform for brands—both emerging and established—to showcase their products, connect with potential buyers, and gain industry insights. The SFA, a nonprofit organization, has been dedicated to fostering innovation and growth in the specialty food sector for over 70 years. Their mission is to support and promote food entrepreneurs, providing valuable resources and networking opportunities.

The Energy and Collaboration at the Shows

From the moment we arrived, we could feel the electric energy of the Fancy Food Shows. These events are more than just trade shows—they are vibrant communities where ideas, flavors, and businesses come together. The support we received from fellow vendors, buyers, press, and association members was truly inspiring. Whether through shared experiences, valuable feedback, or exciting new partnerships, the sense of collaboration was evident everywhere we turned.

One of the highlights for us was the chance to connect with like-minded businesses and industry professionals who share our passion for quality, creativity, and innovation. The Fancy Food Show isn't just about showcasing products; it's about fostering relationships and building a strong network within the specialty food world.

Looking Ahead

As we continue to grow our business, we are excited about deepening our involvement with the Specialty Food Association and the incredible community it represents. The experience we gained at these shows has been invaluable, and we look forward to being part of this dynamic group for years to come. From discovering emerging trends to forming meaningful connections, the Fancy Food Show is a place where businesses like ours can thrive.

To anyone in the specialty food industry considering attending or exhibiting, we highly recommend it! The inspiration, connections, and opportunities found at the Fancy Food Shows are unmatched, and we can’t wait to see what’s next on this journey.  Sadly we won't be able to attend New York in June but we plan to be back to the Winter show in California in January 2026!
